The Department of Defense has identified 3,873 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans yesterday:

EMERY, Blair W., 24, Cpl., Army; Lee, Me., 42nd Military Police Brigade.

REECE, Matthew K., 24, Specialist, Army; Harrison, Ark., First Brigade Combat Team.
